However, for most people (like my husband), Amplenote's Free Forever plan should work for non-commercial use.Īdditionally, since Amplenote has also replaced my latest task manager (Clickup's Unlimited plan is $7 a month/$84 a year per team member) I am actually saving money as my husband was also part of my "team". This is actually a little less expensive than my pre-Bending Spoons Evernote renewal price was (and a lot less expensive than the current price of Evernote). I have always used Fireshot and the free Google Keep.Ī (my Evernote replacement) is $5.84 a month for the Pro paid plan ($70.08 a year). I also used to use a dedicated task manager (went through Todoist/Clickup/TickTick) and have always used a read-it-later app (was Pocket, now the more powerful Raindrop.io). I have never used Evernote (former paid user with 36K+ notes) as my sole productivity workhorse as my needs/daily use case is much more complicated. Some might argue that using all these apps to replace Evernote makes my workflow more complicated/expensive, but for me that would be inaccurate. Google Keep (as needed, I cut and paste simple, everyday information I need to collaborate/share with members of my household.) Think of it as a digital series of simple refrigerator magnet held notes that everyone can see and add to/move around. Amplenote (and Evernote's) web clippers work well, but I prefer the more granular web clipping control I get with. ![]() I can also save a bookmark forever so I don't have to worry about it ever going offline.į (I use the one time billed, paid version as a universal web clipper with frictionless searchable text/PDF creation.) I then move the captured PDFs and/or images into Amplenote. ![]() Raindrop.io (for bookmarking and read-it-later/timeshifting so I don't have to read everything the moment I come across something interesting online and can continue working/creating with minimal interruption. I also dynamically import my Google Calendar(s) into Amplenote the way I once did with Evernote. It also replaces for most task management.
